Disney’s Beach & Yacht Club Resorts.
Disney’s Beach & Yacht Club Resort are sister resorts located a short walk away from Epcot. They share some pretty great amenities, like the best pool on Disney property. Check out the video for a walking tour of the pool area!
Other reasons I love the Beach & Yacht Club are
1. The location! This spot is pretty sweet. You can walk to two parks, if Hollywood is too far they do offer a boat ride for you.
2. The dining options. You may not go out of your way to dine here like other resorts, but if you’re staying here you will be happy with the variety of food options you have. Each resort has aa grab and go spot like; Hurricane Hannah’s by the pool or the Market at Ale & Compass. The sit down places are great too, and I highly recommend getting a reservation if you’d like to dine at any of the table service restaurants. My favorite spots are; Beaches & Cream a family friendly 50’s style soda shop or for a fancier meal the Yachtsman Steakhouse. You can not go wrong any any of these places!
3. The pool! I know I mentioned this above, but it is worth mentioning again. The pool here is amazing. No need to go to the water parks, becuase you have one outside your door. The water slide here is great & there is a sandy bottom area, perfect to build some sand castles with big and little kids. One of my favorite parts of this amazing pool is it is great for kids of all ages.
4. There are things to do here! If you’re not going to the theme parks but want to keep everyone busy and happy this is a great spot to be. After a great day at the pool you can walk around the Boardwalk area grab some ice cream & enjoy the nightly entertainment (when it returns). These resorts feel just like that; resorts.
You will find a variety of rooms here-
The standard room at both the Yacht & Beach Club will sleep 5 in two queen beds and a pull out day bed. You can pick from a few different views too; standard, pool, water or garden. Each resort also offers Club Level with the same room set up (two queen beds & a pull out day bed).
If you would like some more space Disney’s Beach Club has some great options for you! The Nantucket VP suite will sleep 2 in a king bed. They offer a one bedroom, that’ll sleep 4 in one king bed and a pull out sofa. And lastly there is a two bedroom suite that’ll sleep 7 in one king bed, two queen beds & one pull out sofa.
