A beautiful warm hazy day in July we headed to the western part of the state for a fun morning hike. This hike is about 3.2 miles round trip. From the parking lot we followed the sign up the West Ridge Trail. This starts a steady climb up. It took us a little over an hour to hit the peak. I am not sure how we did this but very close to the top we followed a different trail and it was very very steep. I am glad on our way down we went the other way as it was a more manageable hike down than the way we went up!
