Disney Cruise Line deals!
Have you been lucky enough to experience a Disney Cruise? Then you know that they are amazing and can be pretty expensive. Deals do not come by very often for a Disney Cruise. With the lack of deals, a Disney Cruise can be out of a lot of people’s budgets. If you’re the person that likes a good deal then this is for you! Disney Cruise has come out with an unbelievable deal for Disney+ members as well as some select sailing that can save up to 35%!
For Disney+ members here are the details-
Third and fourth guests sail for FREE with two full-fare guests! You can book up to two staterooms with this deal, and two full-fare guests must stay in each room. This offer is available from January 2023 to April 2023 for room categories 4a-11c, meaning no concierge rooms fall under this deal. There are some blackout dates but otherwise, that is the deal!! Who wants to go sail on an amazing Disney Cruise & save?!
This includes some Marvel day at Sea and Pixar Day at Sea Sailings too!
The other pretty good deal, for those who want different dates or sailings or those who don’t have Disney+ yet, here is a deal for you-
Save up to 35% off select sailings! The ports you can save from are; Miami, New York, and Galveston. Save up to 30% from Port Canaveral. Save up to 25% from San Diego and lastly save up to 20% from San Juan.
The majority of these sailing are for the fall of 2022 while others are for the fall of 2023. They are select sailings from each port. The room categories are as follows; IGT (guaranteed inside stateroom), OGT (oceanview guaranteed) & VGT (verandah guaranteed).
The Disney+ deal is probably going to save you a little more and give you more flexibility to pick your room too. Depending on when you can travel and who is in your travel party of course.
If you’re still on the fence about taking a Disney Cruise and wondering if it is even worth it, let me tell you some reasons why no matter the ship you’re on, it is always worth taking a cruise-
There is a lot included in your cruise fare from entertainment to the food here are my favorite reason to take a Disney Cruise. -
The rotational dining. There are three main dining spots for your evening meal on each ship. You will be assigned a restaurant for dinner each evening of your ship. If your cruise is longer than 3 nights you will have some repeats. This doesn’t mean the restaurant will have the same menu or the same experience though. Disney tends to change the menu and even the entertainment at each place. Each evening you will have the same wait staff; what is cool about that is they really get to know you. If you have a picky person in your party they remember, if you like to have a big glass of ice water to start they remember, it is pretty amazing these cast members! The food is also pretty good for being banquet-type food serving a lot of people! If you’re looking for good lunch and breakfast spots there is a buffet-style spot on each ship and quick service windows serving favorites like pizza & sandwiches.
If you’re a character fan, Disney cruising is for you! You can take a cruise that focuses on Pixar characters or even Marvel! For those, like me, who don’t want to wait in long long lines to meet characters cruising is for you! There are ticketed events to meet your favorite or most popular characters & there are even characters roaming the ships great for a casual meet and greets!
I have to mention my favorite spot on earth; Castaway Cay. Not every cruise will stop here, but this is a great reason to take a Disney Cruise and enjoy this little slice of paradise. You can enjoy the day lounging on the beach, riding a bike, snorkeling, kayaking, or even getting up close to stingrays! There is seriously something for everyone on this beautiful little island. Want adventure and to be busy all day then take a boat tour. Want a chill day? Grab a chair and rent a tube and float the day away! This is one of my absolute favorite spots in the world and I think you will love it too!
Some of the cruises have a theme; Very Merry Christmas Time, Halloween on the High Seas, Marvel Day at Sea, and Pixar Day at Sea. The themes come with special character meet up, your favorite character all dressed up, activities, movies, events and shows that all go with the theme. They are perfect for Marvel or Pixar fans who want a special experience. If you’re a big Christmas or Halloween fan you will love the events on these specialty cruises!
I think I could continue on and on with all the amazing reasons you would love a cruise. From the food to the entertainment, to the kids’ clubs, to the rooms… I didn’t even walk about the rooms or the kids’ clubs… see so many reasons!! The Disney Cruise Line is and always will be one of our family’s favorite vacations, and I think you will love it too!
