Where to Stay Wednesday: Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Greetings Disney travelers today we are talking about Disney’s Beach Club resort. This resort is located within walking distance to Epcot as well as Hollywood Studios. Since Hollywood is a little further away Disney does offer a boat transportation to both parks. The best thing about this deluxe resort is the pool shared with their sister resort the Yacht Club.

The pool here is simply amazing. It is the best pool Walt Disney World has to offer. As I mentioned above it is shared with the Yacht Club. Before you think about pool hoping over here when staying at a different resort, think again. This is the one pool they are very strict about entering. You are only allowed to enter if you’re a guest at Disney’s Yacht, Beach Club or the Beach Club Villa (a DVC resort). They check your magic bands each morning and will give you a colored wrist band to let the cast members know you’re a guest at the right resorts.

I could spend the entire time talking about the pool, legit it is huge! They’ve got a lazy river, HUGE water slide, sandy bottom area and plenty of room to relax. Can you tell how much I love it here? But there is so much to staying at the Beach Club than the pool. The location is top notch here. With being able to walk to two theme parks it gives you more time and flexibility in the parks. Forget something in the room? No need to wait for a bus, boat or gondola you can just walk. Have a long, magical day, in the parks and can’t wait to get the tired kids to bed, walk back!

I have always loved being able to walk to the parks. I find it easy and relaxing. I also love being able to walk to Epcot. Now that park hopping is back you can enter Epcot via the International Gateway and enjoy dinner each night.

International Gateway is the back entrance to Epcot and you’ll enter in between the UK pavilion & the France Pavilion.

When you’re not entering the parks or you have a non park day you can enjoy the Boardwalk area. It is a wonderful spot to walk around while enjoying the sites. The Boardwalk Resort is just across the water giving you more shopping & dining options. When the pandemic is over the Boardwalk is a happening place. You will street performers doing a variety of acts each evening. It is a lot of fun to walk around and see.

I love staying here, this location & resort are one of my favorite places to be in the World of Disney. If you have kids who love a good pool & you want easy access to two parks this is the resort for you!
