Where to Stay Wednesday; Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Greetings Disney travelers today we are talking about the beautiful Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World, and why it is a fantastic place to stay! Caribbean Beach is a very large moderate resort located next to Disney’s Riviera Resort.

I love this resort, its vibe, its location, it’s just a magical place to be! The one con to staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, I want to get it out of the way, is it is a huge resort. With over 2,000 rooms this is one spacious place! If you don’t mind a little walk back to your room after a day at the parks or multiple bus stops then keep reading.

Caribbean Beach is simply a gorgeous resort. You will feel like you are someplace else other than Walt Disney World. I love that feeling as you’re walking around the resort, of just relaxing. Speaking of down time that is what pool days are for! Caribbean Beach’s main pool is a zero entry, has a water slide & water canons! They also have a splash pad area for the younger crowd. If you have a room far from the main pool and you’re just looking for a quick dip, you won’t have to look far, Caribbean Beach has 5 more pools! If you’re not feeling the pool day thing the kids can check out the playground here too. This resort has some fun places to explore, keeping kids of all ages happy.

If you’re looking for a good place to eat and enjoy a drink you will find a multiple places to enjoy here. Banana Cabana is a bar close to the main pool serving food like: burgers, salad & a cuban sandwich as well as your favorite island drink. Next to Banana Cabana’s is Sebastian’s Bistro a table service restaurant offering yummy seafood. If you’re looking for a quick bite you can grab some food at Centertown Market or Spyglass Grill or you can even order pizza delivered to your room! I love all the options Caribbean Beach has. Disney’s newest resort Riviera is right next door giving you even more dining and shopping choices, and don’t we all love more delicious options?

As I finish up this Where to Stay article I have to finish with one of my top reasons to stay here the transportation. A couple of years ago Disney built the newest way to travel around Walt Disney World property; the Skyliner a gondola transportation system. The gondola hub is here giving you easy access to Epcot or Hollywood studios. I made a video, link above, walking around the resort as well as taking a ride on the gondola. I loved taking the gondola to Epcot I found it very relaxing, just went well with the overall theme of the resort!

Have you stayed here before? Would you like to?
