Where to Stay Wednesday- Disney’s Coronado Resort

Greetings Disney friends -

Today’s where to stay post is about Disney’s Coronado Springs resort! I absolutely LOVE this resort, it has a more deluxe vibe at a moderate price level, and who doesn’t a little luxury at a lower price. Coronado Springs has an American Southwestern theme and in 2019 a new tower; the Gran Destino Tower opened. This resort is pretty big and spread out and it does have a convention center, so when the world goes back to large events you will find this a popular destination for hosting conventions. Because it is a popular resort to host events the rooms are set up with business in mind. You will find a little extra room and plenty of desk space with plenty of usb outlets. I have an older room tour here:https://youtu.be/9ahnb4X9pHs The standard rooms have not changed since I made this video, but the lobby has, it is now in the Tower and is just so gorgeous!! Some of the other reasons I love this resort are the food and coffee. You will find a variety of dining options here from some great quick service options; at El Mercado de Coronado, to my favorite non Starbucks coffee shop on Disney property; Barcelona Lounge to some great sit down options like; Three Bridges or Toledo’s. You can not go wrong eating or drinking here.

If you have kids or grownups who like a good pool Coronado will not disappoint. The main pool “The Lost City of Cibola” is located at the “Dig Site” and has Mayan Pyramid and a nice water slide kids of any age will love. Coronado also boast’s having the largest hot tub on Disney property. And if you’re hungry while lounging by the pool they have a great pool bar window with some yummy food and drink options!
