Where to Stay Wednesday; Walt Disney World All Star Resorts

Greetings Disney Travelers-

Today’s post is about Walt Disney World’s All Star Resorts. There are three All Star Resorts; All Star Movies, All Star Music & All Star Sports. I am combining all three into one article becuase they share a lot of the same attributes. and as you can see from the map below they kind of look like one giant property. The All Stars are three separate value resorts. They will share a bus to the all of the theme parks & Disney Springs. Each resort will have one very large quick service location and at least two pool areas.

Currently only one of the three is open and that is All Star Movies. All Star Movies has been fully renovated and the other two are getting their turn with their face lift. I assume they will open when it is, not only safe to do so, but when the room renovation has been completed as well. With the new room re-do they now each have two queen beds. You can see a tour of the rooms here on my YouTube channel: All Star Movies Room Tour. The All Star Music & Sports will have the same layout, but the theming will be different. I love the new space and personally am excited to see two queen beds. If any of you had stayed at the All Star resorts in the past you know it was sort of dates and had two double beds.

The addition of the two queen beds makes for more comfortable sleeping for everyone, and we know how important a good night sleep is! The rooms will sleep 4 guests. These resorts are the perfect spot for those on a budget yet wanting to stay within the Disney magic. They are very popular with youth groups, due to the size and the fact that they are an affordable spot to stay. The All Star resorts are also very close to the ESPN Wide World of Sports, making getting to the game or competition very convenient!

What I love about the All Star Resorts is you’re in the heart of the magic of Disney and not hurting your budget. When you stay here you can take a bus to all of the theme parks & Disney Springs. Have you stayed here before? Tell me what you think!
