Best Walt Disney World Resort for an Adult Only Trip

Greetings Disney friends! I have had a few polls on my Instagram account lately, my most recent one ‘where would you stay for an adult only trip’, had a more predictable result.

The winner of my Instagram poll was; the Grand Floridian. I guess I was not totally surprised, this is a gorgeous resort. Out of all the deluxe resorts this places definitely has a more adult vibe that some other resorts. They have great places to eat like Citricos, Nacoossee’s, or even grab a drink at Enchanted Rose. They have a couple pools here. The main pool area has a water slide & a Mad Hatter themed splash pad area, it is a nice spot for kids. But if you’re here for an adults only trip the second pool will be a little quieter. Both pools offer a pool bar with a small food menu too.

There are so many wonderful spots to stay in Walt Disney World for an adults only trip. Budget is number one when it comes to picking a place, then it comes down to your taste and where you want to spend your time. Do you want to be at the parks? Or are you more of a pool/ shopping person? Or do you want it all, parks, pool, shopping & restaurants? If you’re on more of a budget I would recommend Coronado Springs. This gorgeous resort has a more deluxe vibe to it with some great places to eat & they are close to the parks, it really is the best of both worlds.

I also love staying at the Boardwalk Inn when visiting for one of Epcot’s festivals. They are so close to two theme parks and have a great vibe to the pool area, even with out the clown slide, and offer some great adult places to listen to music and grab a drink in the evenings.

Do you have a place you’d love to stay for an adult only trip? What I love about Walt Disney World is the variety of resorts offered. One for every budget and taste and experience. I would love to hear where you’d love to stay!
