Where to eat in Walt Disney World without a reservation

Dining reservations are a must-do for the popular sit-down spots. If you’re not online making reservations at your 60-day mark, then you will be out of luck for a lot of places. For those who are last-minute planners or just want to go with the flow a little more. No worries I have a list of great spots to grab a bite to eat all over Walt Disney World. Let’s break it down by location.

Magic Kingdom-

Sleepy Hollow- This not-so-hidden gem of a restaurant is my family’s favorite spot to grab a bite. This place has the Nutella waffles I tell everyone about. They also have waffle sandwiches that are yummy too!

Peco Bill’s- This tex mex place has some yummy options, I like the variety they offer and they have a lot of seating!

Friar’s Nook- This quick service spot reminds me of fair food with things like Mac’ N Cheese tots and hot dogs every kid will be happy.

The fan-favorite Dole whip can be found here- Aloha Isle. But if you want the original Citrus Swirl head to Sunshine Terrance.

Epcot

My personal favorite park to snack around in is Epcot! You can not go wrong here. They have festivals year-round. The menus will vary from festival to festival. You will see some fan favorites come back each year, but you can always count on new items each year. My personal favorite is the Festival of the Arts. Not only can you walk around seeing amazing artists but the food is art itself! But if you happen to be in Epcot when there is no festival or you want more of a meal than snacks here are my go-to spots-

Connections Cafe- is a new restaurant located next to the newly designed Starbucks. Also a must on my Disney trips. I love the menu here it is a good mix of sandwiches, pizza and salads.

La Cava de Tequila- Ok not a place to grab a meal… but if you’re looking for a good margarita and some of the best chips and guac in Disney World this is a great spot to grab a snack and drink in the ac!

Regal Eagle Smokehouse- This is a newer restaurant in the American pavilion, and by new, I mean it opened within the last few years. I really like the food here it is filling and pretty tasty to me.

Yorkshire Fish Shop- This is one of my family’s favorite spots to eat! The fish and chips are always so delicious!

Les Halles Boulangerie -Patisserie- This is also a must do! We love grabbing bread and pastries here. They do have lunch and dinner options, but we are fans of the breakfast pastries!

Food booths almost all year! As I mentioned above Epcot has so many wonderful festivals- Festival of the Arts, followed by, Flower and Garden, followed by, Food and Wine, and then to finish the year, Festival of the Holidays. All of them offer different themed food to go with the time of year and I love them all. It is fun to go around and try different bites of food, this is a great way to fill up in-between meals.

Animal Kingdom Park

Animal Kingdom is the sneaky good place to eat and drink park. They offer great snacks from the food carts and the quick service locations are really, in my personal opinion, some of the best in any of the Disney theme parks.

Flame Tree BBQ- An overall hit with the family with good food and we have always been able to find a spot to eat. Making everyone happy :)

The snack carts - We thought the fruit from these carts were a 10 out of 10.

Nomad Lounge- They do not take reservations here, but are considered table service. They are located right next to Tiffins. They have a limited food menu. I thought they had good in-between meals; I am hungry now and need to rest type food. Plus the drinks here are fantastic! This is a great spot to rest grab a snack and drink. They also have outdoor dining with views of the waterway.

Satu’li Canteen- Located in the World of Pandora this is my personal favorite spot to grab lunch. You can customize bowls with a protein or they do offer plant-based options too. I love being able to have healthy options while walking around the park all day.

Yak & Yeti Food Cafe- My personal favorite breakfast spot! They offer great quick service options all day, but I love the breakfast bowl here. When Yak & Yeti is too hard to get into this is a great option for a quick meal.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios has some decent places to eat. Would I go out of my way to eat here? No, it just is not my personal favorite. With that being said I think there are some great options here without a reservation-

Baseline Tap House- A great spot to grab a beer and pretzel. They have a very limited food menu, but if you’re looking to rest your feet and have a drink and snack this is the spot!

Ronto Roasters- My personal favorite spot in the park. Again, limited food menu but I love the Ronto wrap for breakfast or lunch.

Woody’s Lunch Box- Again one of my personal favorites. I love the breakfast bowls. Anything with tater tots you can not go wrong ;) They also offer pretty good sandwiches at lunch and dinner time. The seating is limited here, which is the one bummer to me.

ABC Commissary- has pretty good sandwiches and some healthy options.

Resorts & Disney Springs

Resort options really will depend on where you’re staying and how far out of the way you want to go. All of the Walt Disney World resorts have at least 1 quick-service restaurant. The moderate and deluxe resorts will have more dining options. Here are my personal go-to spots, that I would go out of the way to eat at.

Wilderness Lodge- Very close to the Magic Kingdom, but it can feel a world away. I love Geyser Point. Geyser Point sits on the water in between the pools. They’re an open-air restaurant with pretty good food and great drinks. Although technically a quick service they do have a waitstaff and bartenders.

Captain Cooks- Over at the Polynesian another personal favorite I go out of my way for. They have pulled pork nachos I love.

Enchanted Rose- Is located at the Grand Floridian, and I would consider it more of a bar, but they have good food here too.

Lastly Disney Springs. This market area has expanded over the years and it is definitely worth checking out if not for the day at least the afternoon.

Gideon’s Bakehouse- the famous cookie and bakery is amazing. There will be a line and it is worth it for the ice peanut butter cold brew and their chocolate chip cookies.

Chicken Guy- who knew chicken fingers and sandwiches could be so good?! The dipping sauces here are so good too!

D-Luxe Burger- one of my favorite burger spots in Walt Disney World

Splitsville- They are a table service restaurant that does take reservations, but we have always had luck walking up. They have good burgers and yummy sushi. And you can go bowling here too!

Tell me are any of your favorites on my list? I would love to hear where you like to go too!!
