The Best Disney World Resort for Teens

Greetings Disney friends! As of right now I have a poll on my Instagram for where you would recommend staying with teenagers, and my go to resort is out! I can not even believe it. I have a feeling I know who will win and I will share the results at the end of this blog.

Disney really does have a resort for every budget, family and group. If your budget allows for a deluxe resort my go to resort for a family with teens would be the Beach Club resort and if not the moderate resort I would suggest is Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort.

I am still kind of surprised others are not on the same page as me, yes I am still talking my Instagram poll, but I will move on and share my reasons for picking the Beach Club. We all have our reasons for why we would want to stay at one resort with teens. I would love to hear what makes your choice your favorite. Here are my reason why I think the Beach Club would be a fantastic spot to stay with a group of teenagers.

  1. The location. This is true for everything in life ‘location, location, location’ real estate and resorts!! When you’re going with a group of teens the main park they will want to go to is Hollywood Studios. You can not only walk to Hollywood Studios but you can also walk to Epcot, which is also great for grabbing yummy dinner or snacks each day.

  2. The pool, I know you have heard this before and will hear it again, the pool here is the best on property. It is huge!! They have a lazy river, a huge pirate water slide & even a sandy bottom area. There is plenty of room for everyone to find a spot to enjoy themselves.

  3. The food options. Kids, especially teens love to eat & snack! There are some great options to grab food here. From Beaches & Cream ice cream to the pizza window at the Boardwalk Inn. If teens want healthier options the Beach Club has those as well, Hurricane Hannah’s the pool bar/ restaurant has some delicious, yet healthy choices too.

  4. Entertainment- No one likes to be board on vacation especially teenagers. The kids can have fun in the arcade, at the amazing pool or walking over to the Boardwalk Inn area to enjoy the night life. Even on a non park day there are places for them to enjoy at the resort, and if you want venture a little outside the resort there is a mini golf course about a half mile away. Fantasia Gardens golf is on the other side of the Swan & Dolphin resort, you can walk or drive over to enjoy a non theme park activity.

I love the accessibility here, and think staying here gives teens the freedom they love while you as parents feel safe letting them have some freedom to explore Walt Disney World.

In the last hour of my Instagram poll the Polynesian has a strong lead. While I love this resort and think it is a fantastic spot to stay (the food here is so good) it would not be my first choice for a resort with teens. The Polynesian is my go to for families with younger kids. The Poly is so close to the Magic Kingdom, you can even see the fireworks from the pool which is perfect for younger kids needing some down time. You can enjoy the nightly show while enjoying an adult beverage, not fighting the crowds & be closer to your room for bedtime, it is pretty magical spot to be. With the new Moana inspired rooms it is perfect for the younger ones.

I would love to hear where you’d like to stay with young kids or big kids! The Beach Club has my heart and I can’t wait to go back with my daughter and her friends!
